Robust dialogue, experience sharing and cooperation between the UN’s main criminal justice and public security assistance providers is critical to ensure a coordinated approach to the highly complex and deeply political challenges that often exist in fragile and conflict-affected states. 

Organized in close collaboration with the Knowledge Platform, this round table will serve as an opportunity to discuss current thinking on rule of law coordination at the UN and help develop realistic options for more effectively coordinating the UN’s delivery of criminal justice and public security capacity building assistance in fragile contexts.
