On January 27, 2015, SHOPS hosted a “golden jubilee” dinner to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Jordanian Association for Family Planning and Protection (JAFPP). The event chronicled JAFPP’s achievements in providing family planning services to Jordanian women since 1964 through a video documentary and a photo exhibition. Over 200 participants attended the event, including U.S. Ambassador Alice Wells and USAID Mission Director Beth Paige.
