On 21 November, the American Book Center in The Hague will host the book presentation of When the Walking Defeats You: One Man’s Journey with Joseph Kony’s Bodyguard, by Ledio Cakaj.

Drawing on hours of interviews with George Omona, one of Joseph Kony’s former personal bodyguards, Cakaj provides a unique, unsettling, and brutal insights into the inner workings of the LRA and the mind of its leader.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A with Cakaj and a book signing.
