The site is designed to be a clearinghouse for information on PrEP research (ongoing and completed; clinical trials and demonstration projects), data, additional research, cost, access and advocacy efforts across the globe.

The website is hosted by The Broker, the Dutch knowledge brokering organisation that played a foundational role in the set up and secretariats of various platforms knowledge platforms. It continues to be an active partner, contributing its pioneering knowledge brokering approach to complement the thematic expertise as main partner in the secretariats and as close partner of these platforms.
